CURRENCY - Kasper Demeulemeester
The photographer descends on public space to make people’s portraits. Different than most, this photographer uses a Polaroid camera. His camera of choice makes nice images, but it also complicates his job: a Polaroid is a unique object. Who owns this single copy? Is it the photographer’s property, or does it belong to the portrayed? Are we the owner of our own image?
